Job summary

GAINSCO Auto Insurance® seeks an Enterprise Data Architect to define and govern enterprise data and analytics architecture strategy. You will establish long‑term vision, standards, reference models, and architectural patterns for data ingestion, storage, modeling, governance, and delivery across the organization.

You will partner with Data Engineering, Analytics, Security, and Governance teams to design scalable, secure data solutions, guide modernization, and present architecture standards to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• 10+ years in professional data engineering and 10+ years in enterprise Data Architect roles with standards and roadmaps.
• 5+ years with Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and SQL Server.
• 5+ years with streaming or event-driven data technologies (Kafka, Openflow, Snowpipe).
• 5+ years with Power BI/Tableau, including enterprise reporting architecture and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and govern enterprise data architecture vision, standards, roadmaps, and reference models.
• Design scalable, secure cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Azure) for analytics and operations.
• Lead data modeling strategies and governance for metadata, lineage, and data quality.
• Communicate architectural direction to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior architects and engineers to promote best practices across teams.
