Job summary

GreatAmerica is expanding its Data Delivery Team and seeks a Data Architect to design scalable data architectures that power enterprise analytics. You will lead real-time and batch data pipelines, establish governance standards, and guide modernization initiatives across cloud services.

The role requires strong collaboration with DevOps, Analytics, and Governance teams, mentoring colleagues, and delivering secure, compliant data solutions that enable business insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-based data architectures, transactional and analytical systems, data modeling, data integration tools, and BI concepts.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and enterprise-scale data warehouses/datalakes.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, end-to-end enterprise data architectures.
• Build and optimize real-time and batch data pipelines.
• Define and enforce data governance, security and compliance frameworks.
• Lead modernization and migrations to cloud-based solutions.
• Mentor team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
