GAINSCO Auto Insurance is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to define and govern enterprise-wide data architecture strategy. You will partner with Data Engineering, Analytics, Security, and Governance teams to design scalable, secure data solutions and guide modernization across the organization.

The role emphasizes cloud data platforms, governance, and reusable data products, with mentorship of junior architects and engineers. Hybrid work and strong benefits are offered.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field required.
• 10+ years in professional data engineering and enterprise data architecture.
• 5+ years with Snowflake, ADF, Synapse, and SQL Server.
• 5+ years with streaming and event-driven data tech (Kafka, Snowpipe).
• 5+ years in enterprise reporting architecture and analytics enablement.

Mansioni

• Define and govern the enterprise data architecture vision and design standards.
• Design scalable, secure cloud data platforms using Snowflake, ADF, Synapse and SQL Server.
• Establish patterns for batch, streaming, and real-time data pipelines.
• Lead data modeling strategies to improve consistency and performance.
• Set metadata, lineage, data quality, and security standards for enterprise datasets.
• Provide design reviews and guidance to Data Engineering teams; mentor staff.
