Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks an experienced data architecture leader to drive the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms for Financial Crime, Risk, Compliance, and Regulatory domains.

You will migrate legacy ecosystems to cloud-native Databricks architectures, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable technology solutions. You will mentor architects and engineers while enforcing governance, data quality, and security standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in architecture of applications and information technologies.
• Expertise with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale data platforms for financial crime, risk and regulatory domains.
• Migrate legacy data ecosystems to cloud-native, Databricks-based architectures.
• Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for quality, governance, and scalability.
• Partner with business, product, engineering, and risk teams to translate requirements into technology solutions.
• Define enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures and best practices for data ingestion, storage, lineage, governance, and consumption.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative, performant, secure solutions.
