Job summary

Trility Consulting seeks a Senior Data Consultant to modernize an Azure Synapse data platform and migrate workloads to Microsoft Fabric. You will partner with client engineers to build scalable data pipelines, metadata-driven ingestion, and automated CI/CD workflows, leveraging Claude Code for AI-assisted development.

The role is remote (W2) with US-based eligibility; you will work with cross-functional teams to ensure migration accuracy, data quality, and sustainable engineering standards

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Services including Fabric, Data Factory, Databricks or Synapse.
• Hands-on Fabric production experience with lakehouses, pipelines, notebooks, medallion architecture.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and refine the Fabric architecture and ingestion patterns.
• Design metadata-driven ingestion framework with configuration-based onboarding.
• Migrate data sources/workloads from Azure Synapse to Fabric.
• Develop Fabric data pipelines and Spark notebooks with PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Implement CI/CD workflows for Fabric artifacts using GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with client engineers and enforce sustainable engineering standards.
• Apply data governance, lineage, and metadata management best practices.
