CACI International Inc. is seeking a Data Architect for the GMOS contract supporting the Department of State. Role focuses on designing and governing enterprise-scale data and infrastructure, modernizing IT, and delivering secure, compliant solutions.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree and 13+ years of related experience; additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements
  • Active Secret clearance
  • Extensive experience designing, architecting, and governing enterprise-scale data, infrastructure, and/or technology solutions
  • Experience developing data architectures, models, integration strategies, and analytics solutions
  • Experience leveraging advanced analytics, automation, AI/ML, or predictive modeling capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture principles, data governance, interoperability, system integration, and technology standardization across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks, tools, and service management processes
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business and mission requirements into scalable technical architectures, standards, roadmaps, and implementation strategies
  • Experience conducting architectural assessments, technology evaluations, impact analyses, and technical risk assessments for modernization and migration initiatives
  • Proven ability to provide SME-level technical leadership and collaborate with senior stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Leads proactive identification, evaluation, and support of operational improvements, AI/ML opportunities, and emerging technologies
  • Establishes and governs the Capacity Management Plan detailing current performance and future requirements
  • Defines capacity utilization metrics to support expansion planning and budgeting using analytics and ML
  • Directs infrastructure architecture development aligned with DoS and Federal standards
  • Establishes and governs IT infrastructure standards aligned with DoS and industry best practices
  • Governs long-range system planning to consolidate devices and services
  • Architects integrated dashboard solutions with near-real-time visibility and Section 508-compliant interfaces
  • Defines capacity management frameworks and monitors resource usage for forecasting
  • Leads service portfolio and catalog transformation with cloud-based services and automated workflows
  • Directs collaboration with architecture review boards addressing security, privacy, and compliance
  • Provides technical/management leadership with goals, plans, and staffing accountability
