Job summary

Plante Moran seeks a data architecture leader to design enterprise-scale data and analytics solutions across discovery to production. You will partner with business and technology leaders to define objectives, translate requirements into delivery roadmaps, and guide teams through design, build, and deployment of scalable data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, Databricks, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise-scale data/analytics solutions from discovery to production support.
• Proven ability to lead architecture discussions and translate designs into delivery plans.
• Strong knowledge of modern data platforms and governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to align on data challenges and analytics solutions.
• Lead discovery, requirements, risks, and solution roadmaps.
• Design scalable, secure, governed data architectures using Fabric, Azure, Databricks, and Power BI.
• Establish architecture standards, Medallion patterns, CI/CD, testing, observability, and ops supports.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple initiatives and guide teams through delivery phases.
• Evaluate tradeoffs for scalability, performance, security, cost, and long-term support.
• Serve as escalation point for complex decisions and align priorities.
• Mentor and supervise a small team of data engineers.
