Job summary

Niron Magnetics seeks a senior data architect to define and own the enterprise data architecture and strategy. You will lead the evolution of the data estate, focusing on scalable patterns, governance, and semantic modeling to enable analytics, reporting, and AI across the business.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Finance, and Operations to build data foundations powering BI, self-service analytics, and AI/ML, while mentoring engineers and guiding vendor selections.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, or enterprise/data architecture.
• Deep expertise designing modern data estate architecture, dimensional and canonical data modeling, and semantic layers.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Fabric and Azure data stack; Databricks experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end data architecture and strategy across ingestion, storage, modeling, governance, and consumption.
• Build on Microsoft Fabric platform and data lakehouse; mature architectural patterns for scale, security, and maintainability.
• Design canonical data models, MDM, and semantic layers to create a single source of truth.
