Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Senior Data Architect to design and deliver scalable data management solutions powering the enterprise. You will design data models and pipelines, leveraging Azure ADF/ADLS, Databricks, and SAP Data Services, while enabling Data as a Service across business units.

You will collaborate with analysts, product owners, and stakeholders, build CI/CD pipelines, and implement containerization for scalable deployments in cloud and edge environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in data or software engineering.
• Experience in the full systems development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Azure ADF, ADLS, SQL, Databricks, SAP Data Services, and tabular models.
• Strong understanding of server-side architectures, containerization, and DevOps practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt quickly to new technologies.
• Familiarity with open-source data management tools and domain-specific languages.
• Experience translating data into insights with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test data management solutions using Microsoft Azure PaaS tools and DevOps.
• Architect data structures and pipelines for Data as a Service across units.
• Develop and test infrastructure components in cloud and edge environments (Azure ADF, ADLS, Databricks, SAP Data Services).
• Manage DevOps pipelines for CI/CD and containerization for scalable deployments.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners, and business stakeholders to define requirements and enhance applications.
