Job summary

RCT Systems is seeking a Data Scientist to support new system capabilities, maintain data pipelines in a cloud environment, and enhance applications. The role emphasizes big data processing, ETL development, data quality analysis, and analytics reporting while operating in Chantilly, VA.

The ideal candidate will hold a TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance and have strong Python/Spark/SQL skills, experience with AWS services and the Elastic Stack, and a collaborative, Agile mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python, Spark, SQL and ETL development.
• Ability to map, transform and load structured/unstructured data.
• Proficient in creating analytic reports and dashboards.
• Strong communication and Agile development experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend bulk data pipelines in a cloud environment.
• Support data quality reviews and ETL design documentation.
• Build analytic reports and dashboards using CloudWatch and Kibana.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and integration partners in Agile teams.
