Job summary

RCT Systems, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Architect/SME to support a customer mission focused on data acquisition, exploitation, engineering, and management.

The role collaborates across data engineering, software engineering, security, DevOps, application development, data science, and program management teams. Responsibilities include designing cloud-based data infrastructure, building ETL pipelines, and working with AWS, Hadoop/HDFS, Cloudera, Spark, and Presto.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and data management, particularly AWS.
• TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Multiple OS: Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Data engineering and processing.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Building and executing ETL pipelines.
• Big-data technologies such as W/HDFS, Cloudera, Spark, and Presto.
• SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Data-flow integration and mission-oriented data systems.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and support cloud-based data infrastructure and data management solutions.
• Build and execute ETL/data processing pipelines.
• Work across AWS, Hadoop/HDFS, Cloudera, Spark, Presto, SQL, and NoSQL environments.
• Integrate data flows with industry-standard systems, including Niagara Falls.
