Job description

We are seeking a Senior Data Architect to lead the design and optimization of a multi-platform Master Data Management (MDM) solution. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of strategic leadership and technical expertise to address enterprise-wide deduplication, Golden Record creation, and identity resolution across systems including Salesforce, MuleSoft, Microsoft Dynamics, Power Platform, and Pega.

This individual will also guide the selection and implementation of matching logic, API/data integration patterns, and MDM system configurations while advising on tools and technologies to support these goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and lead the implementation of MDM and deduplication solutions across diverse enterprise platforms.
  • Assess and profile the current data landscape to identify quality gaps and inconsistencies at the point of data entry.
  • Design, test, and optimize deterministic, probabilistic, and rule-based data matching algorithms.
  • Define integration frameworks between MPI, MDM systems, middleware, and API layers for real-time and batch processes.
  • Recommend tools, languages, or platforms (e.g., Python, R, Talend, Trifacta) that support matching logic and model development.
  • Support the design of reusable APIs and scalable middleware workflows to ensure accurate data exchange.
  • Document technical designs, data models, and end-to-end integration strategies to support governance and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with System Integrators, data stewards, platform owners, and business leaders to align MDM design with data governance policies.
  • Present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and business users.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience with MDM platforms (e.g., Informatica, Reltio, Profisee).
  • Familiarity with identity resolution techniques, fuzzy logic, and ML-based matching models.
  • Proficiency in data profiling and quality analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, Talend, or Trifacta.
  • Experience designing data architectures and integration solutions across Salesforce, Microsoft, and Pega ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks and enterprise architecture principles.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in database architecture and management.
  • Expertise in SQL, NoSQL databases, and data modeling techniques.
  • Experience with cloud-based database solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
