Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

1. Apply domain-specific knowledge to develop and implement effective data solutions.
2. Design, manage, and optimize Snowflake-based data architectures for performance and scalability.
3. Oversee the integration and implementation of AI/ML models into enterprise data pipelines.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data operations and decision-making.
5. Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
6. Responsible for enterprise-wide data design, balancing data access optimization with batch loading and resource utilization.
7. Design and construct data architectures, operational data stores, and data marts.
8. Provide expertise and standards for enterprise-wide data modeling and database design.
9. Define data architecture standards, policies, and procedures, ensuring adherence to company guidelines throughout project milestones.
10. Handle business analysis, data acquisition, access analysis, database optimization, recovery, and load strategies.
11. Assist project teams with data mapping and modeling across multiple projects, facilitating information gathering and data analysis.
12. Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies and techniques for data management.
13. Perform dimensional modeling for data warehousing.
14. Translate business use cases into data models, analytics reports, and scenario models, working closely with customers and prospects.
15. Leverage strong business knowledge and customer relationships.
16. Lead multi-disciplinary project teams.
17. Potentially oversee performance and coaching of staff, participating in talent decisions.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in domain-specific data solutions and industry best practices.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake, including schema design and query optimization.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML architecture and applications in data processing.
• Expertise in data engineering and analytics tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Generally, a minimum of 14 years of related experience.
