Job summary

Marsh seeks a Data and Analytics Engineering Lead in Reinsurance Data and Analytics to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-scale Analytics solutions that help data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable, secure, and high-performance analytic environments, aligned with governance standards.

You will guide data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions, including data

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the reinsurance domain.
• 10+ years in data analytics.
• Expertise in enterprise Power BI: data modeling, DAX, Power Query.
• Strong cloud knowledge: Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, DBT.
• Familiarity with governance, security and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise BI architecture.
• Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions.
• Architect and oversee Power BI integrations with data sources.
• Define analytic solutions leveraging Databricks, DBT and Power BI.
• Develop governance policies for reports and dashboards.
• Support enterprise Power BI deployment and security roles.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize data pipelines.
• Optimize Power BI performance through modelling and design.
• Produce design docs, deployment plans and user guides.
• Stay current with Power BI innovations and best practices.
