Job summary

Marsh (NYSE: MRSH) is a global leader in risk and reinsurance. We seek a Data and Analytics Engineering Lead to design, develop, and deploy enterprise BI solutions across the organization.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable BI environments, implement Power BI with Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and DBT, and enforce governance and security standards while delivering high-performance data pipelines and dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the reinsurance domain and data reporting.
• 10+ years of experience in data analytics with advanced data capabilities.
• Proven expertise designing enterprise Power BI solutions including data modeling and DAX.
• Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, DBT and Power BI integration.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards for enterprise reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise BI architecture including data models, dashboards, reports, and data gateways.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable BI solutions.
• Architect and oversee integration of Power BI with data sources like Azure Data Lake, Databricks, and other platforms.
• Define analytic solutions leveraging Databricks, DBT and Power BI.
• Develop governance standards and best practices for reports and dashboards.
• Support enterprise Power BI deployment, including data refresh schedules and security roles.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize data processing for reduced latency.
• Optimize Power BI performance through data modeling and query optimization.
