Job summary

Marsh is seeking a Data and Analytics Engineering Lead to design, develop, and deploy enterprise BI and analytics solutions across the Reinsurance Data and Analytics team. You will architect scalable, secure analytic environments and collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver data-driven insights.

You will lead Power BI deployments, data modeling, DAX calculations, and governance, coordinating with Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks, and cloud/on-prem data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in the reinsurance domain and its data/reporting needs.
• 10+ years of experience in data analytics with enterprise impact.
• Proven expertise designing and implementing enterprise Power BI solutions (data modeling, DAX, Power Query).
• Strong knowledge of cloud data platforms like Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, DBT and Power BI integration.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance for enterprise reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of enterprise BI architecture (data models, dashboards, reports, data gateways).
• Translate business requirements into scalable BI solutions with data modeling, DAX, and visualization best practices.
• Architect and oversee Power BI integration with Azure Data Lake Storage, Databricks, and other data platforms.
• Define analytic solutions leveraging Databricks, DBT, and Power BI.
• Develop governance policies to ensure consistency, security, and maintainability of reports.
