Job summary

Alteryx is seeking a Senior Architect, a strategic, highly technical, customer-facing resource who blends data analytics, platform architecture, and prescriptive enablement. You will drive analytic adoption and solution design for customers, guiding them through implementation, optimization, and scale of the Alteryx Platform.

You will partner with Sales, Support, Product, Consulting, and Customer Success to align solutions with clients’ evolving business needs and technology landscapes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Architect, TAM, Consultant, etc.).
• Experience leading analytics/BI deployments for enterprise clients.
• Expertise with Alteryx Designer/Server; Core Certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, data platforms, and cloud ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical and strategic contact for assigned customers during their subscription.
• Advise on data strategies, analytics maturity, and integrations with Alteryx solutions.
• Guide Centers of Excellence, governance, and analytics modernization initiatives.
• Coordinate with Sales, Support, Product, Consulting, and Customer Success.
• Architect and guide complex deployments of Alteryx platforms including Designer and Server.
• Lead environment planning and upgrades to minimize downtime and risk.
• Deliver enablement plans, documentation, and proactive recommendations.
• Stay fluent in cloud/analytics trends to inform customer strategies.
• Share knowledge internally and externally to promote technical excellence.
