Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Data Analysis Manager - ES Risk Analytics in New York, NY to lead a team of junior analysts, guide strategic data initiatives, and apply models to test and validate data. You will work with large datasets and collaborate across business units in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with BI emphasis.

The role requires advanced degrees and years of analytics experience; strong Python/R/SQL/Spark, AWS familiarity, and people management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field plus at least 6 years of data analytics experience; Master’s Degree with at least 4 years of data analytics experience is also acceptable.
• At least 4 years of professional data analysis work; at least 4 years of programming experience.
• Preferred: Master’s in STEM and 7+ years of data analysis experience; experience with Python, R, Spark or SQL; 2+ years of people management; experience with IaC tools and project management; Tableau and AWS proficiency.
