PingWind, Inc. in Redstone Arsenal–Huntsville, AL, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead data analytics, modeling, and BI initiatives supporting supply chain and logistics operations.

The role drives descriptive and predictive analytics, translating complex data into actionable guidance for government decision-makers and leadership. The successful candidate will mentor junior analysts, deliver dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI, and establish KPIs to measure performance and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Data Analytics, OR, Statistics, Mathematics, CS, Business Analytics).
• 7+ years of professional experience in data analytics/science or related analytical discipline.
• 3+ years of analytics experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory, transportation, or related operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for data analytics, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling activities.
• Lead the development and delivery of descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytical products.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, relationships, anomalies, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Perform data mining and exploratory data analysis to identify meaningful information from structured and unstructured data sources.
• Develop and apply statistical models, predictive models, and machine learning techniques to support forecasting and operational decision-making.
• Analyze supply chain and logistics data to evaluate performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Develop analytical models supporting inventory management, demand forecasting, transportation, and operational optimization.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, visualizations, scorecards, and performance reports using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, metrics, trends, and performance thresholds.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for Government stakeholders and senior leadership
