Job summary

PingWind is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to lead data analytics, modeling, and BI efforts supporting supply chain and logistics operations. The role emphasizes descriptive and predictive analytics, mentoring junior analysts, and delivering actionable insights for government stakeholders.

The position requires seven years of analytics experience, three years in a supply chain context, and a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of data analytics & statistical analysis methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of data mining and pattern identification techniques.
• Experience developing and validating statistical and predictive models.
• Knowledge and practical application of machine learning methods.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for data analytics, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling activities.
• Lead the development and delivery of descriptive, diagnostic, and predictive analytical products.
• Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, relationships, anomalies, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
• Perform data mining and exploratory data analysis to identify meaningful information from structured and unstructured data sources.
• Develop and apply statistical models, predictive models, and machine learning techniques to support forecasting and operational decision-making.
• Analyze supply chain and logistics data to evaluate performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend data-driven improvements.
• Develop analytical models supporting inventory management, demand forecasting, transportation, supply chain performance, resource planning, and operational optimization.
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, visualizations, scorecards, and performance reports using Tableau and/or Microsoft Power BI.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, metrics, trends, and performance thresholds.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for Government stakeholders and senior leadership.
