CARFAX is seeking a Principal Data Analyst to join the B2B Business Analytics group in Centreville, VA, focusing on Dealer Business Unit impact and cross-functional data insights.

You will support senior management, align goals with actuals, and present data-driven recommendations across sales, revenue ops, product, and finance. Expect 3 days in the VA office with a strong emphasis on data stitching and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years hands-on data experience.
• 3+ years supporting management/executive teams.
• 2+ years in a Sales or Sales Ops-adjacent role.
• 3+ years consolidating and analyzing CRM data in a B2B SaaS environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, which may include limited VBA or Macro exposure.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL.
• Intermediate proficiency in R or Python for scripting end-to-end tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support senior management to align seasonal and long-term goals with operational actuals.
• Provide data-grounded perspective and recommendations to leaders.
• Stitch data from multiple sources (billing, product usage, engagement, employee activity) to reveal impact on outcomes.
• Present findings and tailor delivery to audience needs.
