Job summary

Liftoff, a leading AI-powered performance marketing platform for mobile apps, seeks a Lead Data Analyst to own advanced analytics on the supply side. You will write and optimize complex SQL for massive datasets, build dashboards in Looker/Tableau, mentor teammates, and lead cross-functional data initiatives from ideation to deployment.

This remote-friendly role reports to the VP of Analytics & Operations Supply.

Qualifications

S. degree in Analytics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in data analytics, consulting, or business analytics roles.
Expertise writing complex, performance-optimized SQL on massive datasets; cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Trino).
Proficiency with Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
Ability to break down ambiguous business problems into structured analyses with actionable recommendations.
Consulting-style storytelling: build narratives, defend recommendations, and handle pushback.
Ability to mentor others, lead cross-functional projects, and drive organizational change through data insights.

Responsibilities

Conduct root-cause analysis and triage issues at the intersection of product performance and business KPIs.
Build and automate dashboards, ad-hoc analyses, and internal reporting pipelines using SQL, Looker, and Tableau.
Translate ML model changes and SDK upgrades into business impact analysis for Commercial teams and leadership.
Lead transformational projects end-to-end from ideation to deployment.
Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Finance to drive initiatives.
