Job summary

The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is seeking a data engineer to expand analytics capabilities, design and build our internal analytics data warehouse, and maintain ETL processes for reliable data delivery.

You will work with the Data Platform and DBAs to implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible, Python-based pipelines, and CI/CD with Jenkins, while promoting self‑service analytics and data literacy across the business.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in data science or analytics and two years of experience in data analytics.
• Experience building and maintaining data warehouses and ETL pipelines for analytics.
• Strong understanding of Python-based data processing, SQL, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Expand OCC's analytics capabilities across the organization.
• Design and build internal analytics data warehouse and ETL processes.
• Develop data models for analytics warehouse for downstream use (analysis, dashboards).
• Collaborate with DBAs to implement access controls and governance.
• Create documentation and testing to ensure data accuracy and understandability.
• Promote self-service analytics and data literacy across business users.
