Job summary

MG Properties is seeking a Senior Data & Analytics Engineer to lead the development and long-term ownership of our enterprise data and analytics platform. You will manage the Microsoft Fabric environment, lakehouse architecture, semantic models, reporting, governance, and AI-enabled analytics.

This role focuses on transforming reporting, building scalable, governed solutions, and expanding the platform across the organization.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of experience in data, analytics, or business intelligence with enterprise platform ownership.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, lakehouses, OneLake, semantic models, SQL Analytics endpoints, and Direct Lake mode.
• Advanced Power BI experience including semantic models, governance, and enterprise dashboard delivery.
• Experience replacing manual reporting with governed, scalable analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the Microsoft Fabric environment and related assets.
• Design and maintain semantic models, Power BI reports, and dashboards for multiple business units.
• Lead migration of Yardi-native reporting to the Fabric platform and replace Excel-driven reporting.
