Job summary

Ledgent Technology is seeking an experienced Data Engineer for a direct-hire, hybrid role in San Diego. The position requires sitting onsite 3 days a week with an onsite interview as part of the process.

The target annual pay is $120,000–$132,000, with a base salary aligned to experience in database engineering, ETL, and analytics. You should have a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in OLTP/OLAP database design, ETL development, and enterprise reporting using Power BI and SSRS, with strong SQL

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Software Development or equivalent.
• 5+ years of database engineering and design experience (OLTP/OLAP).
• 5+ years ETL/ELT development using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Python, or similar.
• 5+ years of enterprise reporting/analytics with Power BI and SSRS.
• Advanced expertise with SQL Server 2016+.

Must Have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in database engineering and design within OLTP and OLAP environments.
• 5+ years of experience developing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes using SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Python, or similar technologies.
• 5+ years of experience developing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI and SSRS.
• Advanced expertise with SQL Server 2016 and newer versions.
