Job Overview

Purpose of the role: To support the bank's decision-making processes by providing timely, accurate, and insightful information through designing, developing, and maintaining management reports, compelling visualisations, and dashboards that effectively communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), data insights and trends across various business units.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement comprehensive reports and dashboards using best practices in data visualisation principles and design aesthetics.
• Design, develop and implement automated report generation processes and visualisation methodologies for improved efficiency and timeliness.
• Identify and analyse business requirements to define report content and format.
• Maintain and update existing reports and dashboards to reflect changing business needs, including coordination of reporting template releases and related administrative tasks.
• Develop robust processes & controls for collating input data, performing exploratory data analysis and data cleansing, and seeking signoffs as required.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure up-to-date data is incorporated into reporting and visualisations.
• Lead a team or collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Management, QA, UX Design, etc.) within an Agile software development framework.
• Interact directly with business users to understand requirements and articulate viable technical solutions with their pros and cons.
• Conduct complex analysis of data from multiple internal and external sources to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Communicate complex information to stakeholders and influence decisions to achieve desired outcomes.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Experience building reports using financial and Client Relationship Management (CRM) data.
• Proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau and Qlik.
• Experience with custom extensions using Angular.
• Design multidimensional reporting data marts.
• Build ETL pipelines using PySpark and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
• Design end-to-end solution architecture with C4 model diagrams (Context, Component, Container, Code).
• Strong understanding of agile development principles.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Additional Information

• Location: Whippany, NJ (hybrid role, may telecommute pursuant to company policies).
• Minimum Salary: $169,541 per year.
  Maximum Salary: $185,000 per year.
  Salary includes only base pay; additional compensation and benefits may be available.
• Eligible for an incentive award and a suite of employee benefits, including medical, dental and vision coverage, 401(k), life insurance, and paid leave for qualifying circumstances.
