Job summary

Ascend Learning, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to advance their test security analytics across brands. You will build models, reports, and dashboards to empower security analysts and psychometricians, handling large-scale data and cross-system integrations.

Responsibilities include designing ML pipelines, producing executive-ready briefings, and collaborating with engineering, IT security, and vendor partners to ensure data quality and timely insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a quantitative field with strong analytics.
• Experience building statistical models and ML in production contexts.
• Proficiency in SQL across Snowflake and SQL Server; performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement statistical models, anomaly detection, and ML pipelines to detect suspicious patterns at scale.
• Build predictive and classification models (logistic regression, clustering, random forest, NLP-based flags).
• Prepare and present findings, dashboards, and security briefings to senior leadership.
• Author analytical reports with methodology and recommended actions for investigations.
• Develop and maintain Snowflake SQL and T-SQL procedures and views across data environments.
• Create Tableau dashboards to surface security metrics for operations and executives.
• Collaborate with psychometricians, data eng, IT security, and vendors to align requirements.
