Job summary

National Vision is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and data engineering teams. You will elicit, analyze, and document requirements, perform data exploration with SQL, and deliver technical documentation like source-to-target mappings and data flow diagrams.

You will work with architects and developers to ensure designs meet business needs, conduct QA/UAT, and analyze root causes for timely resolution.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years related experience
• Four-year college degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, Information Systems, CS or related field

Responsibilities

• Represent the D&A team on assigned projects and build relationships with users across units
• Lead requirements gathering and translate business needs into technical requirements
• Use SQL to perform data exploration and analysis
• Deliver source-to-target mappings, ER diagrams and data flow diagrams
• Work with D&A architects and developers to ensure business impact and correct technical execution
• Execute QA testing and user acceptance testing
• Perform root cause analysis for bugs and communicate findings
• Build subject matter expertise on National Vision's data warehouse and data solutions
• Support ad-hoc data and process analysis to answer urgent business questions
