Job summary

CSpring is a data-focused consulting firm seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead data and technology analysis from initial conversations through user acceptance and go-live. You will drive requirements sessions, translate needs into clear documentation, and liaise between business and technical teams.

With 7+ years in IT or data delivery, you will map processes, validate data assumptions with SQL, and support agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

7+ years of business analysis experience on IT or data delivery projects.
Ability to run requirements sessions with mixed business and technical audiences.
Strong documentation skills across BRDs, functional specs, user stories, acceptance criteria.
Proficient in SQL for data profiling and validation.
Experience mapping current and future state processes.
Familiarity with Visio or Lucidchart for workflow docs.
Hands-on agile delivery including backlog refinement and sprint ceremonies.
Experience planning and supporting user acceptance testing.
Excellent written and verbal communication, audience-aware.
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

Lead requirements elicitation with stakeholders, technical teams, and client leadership.
Translate business needs into clear, testable documentation.
Map current and future processes and identify actionable gaps.
Profile and analyze source data; write SQL to check assumptions.
Create source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and business rules.
Serve as the bridge between business and technical stakeholders.
Support agile delivery: refine backlog, size and clarify stories, plan sprints.
Coordinate user acceptance testing, scenarios, onboarding, and defect triage.
Identify risks and dependencies early and present options to PM.
Present findings and status to client stakeholders in actionable language.
