We are looking for a Senior Data Analytics Analyst to join the technology and analytics organization of a premier global alternative investment firm.

This is a highly business-facing role supporting private markets teams across investments, finance, operations, and other functions. The position sits at the intersection of data, analytics, and technology, helping business users improve reporting, solve complex data problems, and turn business needs into scalable solutions.

The team is also actively expanding its use of AI, large language models, automation, and modern data platforms. This is a strong fit for someone who understands investment management and enjoys combining analytics, technology, and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and enhance dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics solutions across private markets teams
• Partner directly with investment, finance, and operations users to understand data and reporting needs
• Use Python, SQL, and analytical tools to evaluate large datasets, identify trends, and automate workflows
• Support data-driven investment research, deal diligence, sourcing, and other business initiatives
• Identify and prototype practical AI, LLM, and automation use cases
• Translate business requirements into clear specifications for engineering and development teams
• Support solution design, testing, implementation, user acceptance testing, and production rollout
• Document business requirements, workflows, data flows, and reporting processes
• Help evaluate new analytics, AI, and data technology platforms

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, business systems, business analysis, or a related field
• Experience within private equity, alternative investments, asset management, investment management, or another relevant financial services environment strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and visualization tools
• Python experience for data analysis strongly preferred
• Experience with SQL, Snowflake, AWS, cloud data environments, or data integration tools is a plus
• Comfortable working directly with sophisticated business users and translating between business and technical teams
• Interest in AI, large language models, automation, and emerging analytics technologies
• Bachelor’s degree in analytics, technology, finance, or a related field; advanced degree a plus
