Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Business & Information Analyst for a hybrid role in Orlando, FL. The position focuses on transforming complex financial and portfolio data into scalable reporting, dashboards, and actionable insights to support planning and leadership decisions.

The role requires 5+ years of analytics experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with AI tools. Onsite work 3 days/week is expected, with a 12-24 month contract term and potential to convert to full-time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Business Analyst/Data Analyst experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Data Science, or related field.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data pipelines/ETL/automation.
• Experience using AI tools to support analytics and automation.
• Experience with financial planning, forecasting, reconciliation, or portfolio financials.
• Experience collaborating with data engineering teams in an SDLC environment.
• Strong data storytelling and executive communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be local to Orlando, FL and able to work onsite 3 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Partner with data engineering and business teams to analyze and consume data from multiple sources.
• Build and maintain datasets, automated workflows, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
• Use SQL, AI, and automation tools to accelerate analysis and improve processes.
• Support financial/portfolio planning, forecasting, reconciliation, and data quality.
• Translate complex data into clear insights and executive-level stories.
• Manage multiple initiatives and pivot as business priorities change.
