Newrez in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Sr Data Analyst to lead projects that boost operational performance and deliver excellent client service. You will leverage SQL, Excel and visualization tools to transform data into actionable insights.

Collaborate with operations teams, mentor teammates in SQL, retrieve data from data warehouse, optimize queries and present findings to managers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in an analytical or quantitative discipline or related STEM field.
Graduate degree preferred.
5+ years of related experience as a data analyst in a financial setting.
Strong business communication skills with ability to collaborate.
Expertise in SQL programming and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

Lead projects to improve operational performance and client service.
Retrieve data from data warehouse and optimize queries.
Mentor team members in SQL and data analytics.
