Job summary
Motion Recruitment is seeking a Data Analyst to join its data and analytics practice in Detroit, MI. You will work with modern cloud-based data platforms and enterprise-scale datasets to improve business outcomes through smarter use of data.
The role offers exposure to enterprise data strategy, governance, analytics, and cloud technologies, and involves translating business needs into technical solutions while collaborating with engineers, architects, and analytics leaders.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Advanced SQL development and data analysis skills.
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
- Background creating technical specifications.
- Knowledge of data governance concepts.
- Experience with ETL processes and data transformation.
- Experience profiling and validating large datasets.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
