Capital One is seeking a Data Analyst to leverage analytic and technical skills to create innovative data solutions and maintain well‑managed data capabilities addressing business problems.

You will work across Innovation, BI and Data Management, partnering with the business to design metrics, dashboards and insights while ensuring data quality and governance across platforms. This hybrid role is based in the Richmond area and requires a quantitative background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field with data analytics experience.
• At least 1 year scripting with Python, R, Spark, or SQL.
• Experience with BI visualization tools.
• Experience querying and analyzing data languages and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support Innovation by mining data and building self‑service data solutions.
• Partner with the business to design metrics and dashboards for insights.
• Ensure data quality governance and security with tech teams and tools.
