Capital One is seeking a Principal Data Analyst - Risk Product Data to leverage analytic and technical skills in building and maintaining data solutions for risk management. You will work across Innovation, Business Intelligence and Data Management to deliver data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate has strong scripting experience (Python, R, Spark, SQL), familiarity with data warehouses and AWS services, and a track record of delivering trusted data assets and dashboards for risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field and 5+ years of data analytics experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years.
• 3+ years of experience with at least one scripting language (Python, R, Spark, SQL).
• 3+ years using a BI visualization tool and querying data languages/platforms.
• Experience with AWS services and data governance concepts is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Innovate by mining data from diverse sources and building self-service data capabilities.
• Partner with the business to design dashboards and insights for risk strategies.
• Manage data quality, metadata, lineage, and access governance in collaboration with Tech teams.
