Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Principal Data Analyst - Risk Product Data to advance analytics, data governance, and risk modeling. You will partner with risk teams to translate business needs into dashboards, data tools, and scalable data solutions using SQL, Python, Spark, and AWS.

You should have a quantitative degree with 5+ years of data analytics or a master with 3+ years, strong scripting and BI tool experience, and a track record of delivering data-driven insights in a regulated financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field with 5+ years data analytics
• Master’s degree with 3+ years data analytics (preferred)
• 3+ years experience with scripting languages (Python, R, Spark, SQL)

Responsibilities

• Partner with risk teams to translate business needs into dashboards, tools, and metrics
• Drive analysis to provide insights on risk strategies and business performance
• Build and maintain scalable data solutions and governance around data quality and metadata
• Collaborate with tech teams to ensure secure data access and lineage
