Job summary

Centerfield seeks a Senior Business Analyst to improve revenue, profitability, and operational performance across its insurance business. You will own analytical projects from framing questions to delivering recommendations and measuring outcomes.

You will work with Media, Operations, Product, Data Engineering, and client teams to turn complex data into clear insights guiding business decisions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or related role with ownership of complex analytical projects.
• Strong SQL skills including querying, filtering, aggregating, and joining data.
• Experience building dashboards in Looker, Tableau, Power BI or similar; strong Excel skills.
• Ability to analyze funnels, segmentation, trends, and experiments and tie findings to business outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to explain technical findings to nontechnical audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in insurance, performance marketing, lead generation, marketplace analytics, or contact center operations.
• Experience with BigQuery, LookML, and Python for analysis and reporting automation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze lead and funnel performance, campaign results, client conversion, revenue, and costs to identify growth opportunities.
• Investigate performance changes, identify drivers, and propose actions with estimated business impact.
• Build and maintain SQL queries and Looker dashboards for reliable reporting for business teams and leadership.
• Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs and translate business needs into analytical requirements.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to resolve data discrepancies and document metric definitions.
• Automate recurring reporting and monitoring using SQL, Python, and AI tools with validated outputs.
• Present findings and recommendations, follow up with owners, and support knowledge sharing.
