Job summary

Pilot Company’s data analytics team is seeking a Senior Data Analyst in Knoxville to translate large datasets into actionable insights and automated dashboards. You will partner with cross-functional teams to define KPIs and drive data-informed decisions, mentoring junior analysts and upholding data quality.

You will design and optimize reports with Tableau/Power BI, leverage SQL/Python, and ensure compliance with policies and security standards while guiding strategic initiatives across the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business analytics, computer science, or statistics required or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 5 years in data analytics required
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation
• Deep experience with cloud data platforms (Databricks preferred), ETL workflows, and large-scale datasets
• Mastery of data visualization tools, such as Tableau (preferred) or PowerBI

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced data mining techniques to analyze large datasets, extract insights, and contribute to the development of business plans
• Lead team problem-solving discussions and exhibit innovative thinking, remaining open to change and feedback
• Effectively communicate analytical methodologies to non-technical audiences and champion change management with stakeholders
• Lead automation and enhancement of reports and dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, and statistical languages (R/Python)
• Ensure analyses, reports, and dashboards adhere to policies, maintaining data accuracy, integrity, and security
• Ensure data processes meet high standards of accuracy, integrity, and security across projects
• Model behaviors to support the company’s common purpose for guests and team members
• Ensure activities comply with rules, policies, and procedures
• Complete other duties as assigned
• Mentor junior analysts as needed
• Make presentations to internal and external top management as requested
