What you need to know about the role - We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Data Analyst to join the Credit Data Platform team. As a Data Analyst, you will work with stakeholders to define state-of-the-art, large-scale data platforms and assets tools. Meet our team - The Credit Data Platforms team oversees implementing unique, best-of-breed data solutions using cutting-edge technologies, delivering highly available, scalable data solutions that process data at a massive scale.

This role will be responsible for supporting global stakeholder departments, working domain leads, and data citizens across different locations such as the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific. The position requires interaction with geographically dispersed teams, so the candidate must be a self-starter with strong leadership qualities, project and task management skills, analytical skills, and comfort working with distributed teams.

Your day-to-day:

• Collaborate closely with the engineering team and provide ongoing support to help implement end-user requirements.
• Ensure the consistency and quality of data solutions completed by the engineering team.
• Work cross-functionally and build strong partnerships with business stakeholders, leads, subject matter experts, and technical staff to gather and develop business needs into technical requirements.
• Identify and refine current and future business processes by performing deep-dive analysis of the current state and proposing future state solutions with clear documentation.
• Develop a firm understanding of business processes and data platforms to design and deliver scalable data solutions supporting customer needs.

What Do You Need To Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering discipline with a solid quantitative aptitude.
• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong partnerships with stakeholders and technical teams to gather and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Experience in analyzing and refining business processes, proposing future state solutions with clear documentation.
• Motivation to understand business processes and data platforms to design scalable data solutions.
• Good understanding of database principles and hands-on experience with advanced SQL for complex analysis.
• Expertise in data modeling concepts, including building logical and physical data models and generating metadata for relational and non-relational databases.
• Understanding of distributed systems (Teradata, BigQuery), data movement, and ETL optimization for large datasets with SLAs.
• Knowledge of Big Data environments and Cloud services (GCP) is a plus.
• Experience with analytical visualization tools like Tableau and QlikView is desirable.
• Ability to document data solutions for business understanding.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
• Basic knowledge of financial services, especially credit systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
