Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Data Analyst / Business Analyst to conduct moderate-to-high complexity analysis of automated surveillance systems addressing regulatory rules across multiple asset classes.

The role bridges regulatory requirements with technical surveillance logic, validating patterns and producing accurate, defendable outputs; will actively leverage generative AI to accelerate analysis, documentation, and automation while ensuring regulatory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in financial regulatory tech, surveillance systems, or capital markets data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Reverse-engineer surveillance patterns by reading source code and building knowledge docs.
• Maintain knowledge base of surveillance patterns across domains.
• Perform requirements-vs-code gap analyses to identify discrepancies and risks.
• Validate new surveillance pattern releases by comparing production vs. UAT outputs and analyze impact.
• Build local testing environments and run query scripts against sample data for verification.
• Design multi-scenario test cases and package release artifacts (scripts, QC results, BRDs).
• Coordinate project tracking, BRD updates, and release sign-off workflows.
• Mentor analysts and champion AI-assisted workflows within the team.
