Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Business Data Analyst I to turn operational data into strategic insights within a dynamic warehouse environment. The role emphasizes building Power BI reports, data modeling, and driving cost reductions through data-driven decisions.

You will collaborate with site leadership to implement standard tools and develop analytics solutions across HR, Finance, and operations, delivering actionable insights for internal and customer use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/logistics/math/statistics or 4 years of equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of data analytics or BI experience.
• Hands-on SQL or Python/R for querying, cleaning, and transforming data.
• Power BI proficiency to build dashboards and reports from scratch.
• Experience with DAX and data modeling is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Power BI reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
• Fully develop Power BI including data visualization and back-end data model design.
• Clean, model, and analyze data using SQL, DAX, and statistical techniques to uncover trends and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with site and sector leadership to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost reduction.
• Assist various functional teams (HR, Finance, etc.) with customized analytical solutions to meet evolving business needs.
• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through presentations and reports for internal and customer use.
• Ability to leverage data from various systems that support our operations (WMS, Timekeeping).
• Manage analytics projects independently, from concept to delivery.
• Serve as a point of contact for Power BI-related questions and support.
