Job summary

SSi People is seeking a Data Analyst to turn stakeholder needs into actionable data insights and support data-driven decisions across the organization. You will develop SQL queries, build Power BI dashboards, and help ensure data quality from design through testing.

The role focuses on ETL, data modeling, and data transformation across diverse environments, including Databricks, Oracle, and Azure, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and independent problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of data/analytics experience.
• Strong SQL development and database skills.
• Hands-on Power BI dashboard/report development.
• Experience with data transformation, data modeling and ETL.
• Experience developing reports/queries from databases.
• Experience with Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Oracle, and/or Azure preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain SQL queries, reports, and data extracts.
• Create and update Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Analyze data from various databases to support business needs.
• Perform data transformation, data modeling, and ETL activities.
• Develop and maintain reporting pipelines.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Develop reports and queries supporting New Business and Distribution Operations.
• Ensure data accuracy, quality, and consistency.
