Job summary

K&A Power Group in Hartford, CT seeks a Data Analyst III to join a dynamic energy and utility team. You will develop, automate, and maintain analytics and reporting for project performance, costs, trends, and schedules, delivering insights that directly influence project execution and governance.

You will design Power BI dashboards, automate data flows, and collaborate with Engineering, Project Controls, Procurement, IT, and Finance to ensure data integrity and actionable KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related fields.
• Ten (10) years of experience performing this specific job function with minimal managerial oversight/direction.
• 10 years of experience is required to be considered for this position.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrable quantitative and analytical skills.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Developing & maintaining project reporting to track and monitor performance and health of projects.
• Support data analytics, reporting automation, and performance monitoring initiatives.
• Design and deploy Power BI dashboards and executive scorecards.
• Develop automated workflows using Power Automate.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis from systems like Maximo, Oracle Primavera, Workday, and Fieldglass.
• Create and maintain KPI reports for Engineering and Supplier performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Project Controls, Procurement, IT, and Finance.
• Deliver fully functional interactive Power BI dashboards and automated reporting workflows.
