Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking a Business Analyst II with Power BI and automation expertise to transform data analytics and processes within a large energy sector client. You will build dashboards, automate workflows and collaborate with stakeholders across technical and business teams.

The role requires hands-on Power Platform experience, SQL, data integration and strong communication to deliver actionable insights and scalable automated solutions in an enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
• Strong Power BI dashboard development, data modelling and reporting.
• Hands-on Power Automate and Power Apps for automation.
• Advanced Excel and SQL for data analysis.
• Experience automating business processes.
• Ability to gather and document functional/technical requirements.
• Understanding of APIs and data integrations.
• Experience creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence and Agile/Scrum delivery.
• Experience supporting UAT and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Analyse processes to identify automation opportunities and investigate data quality.
• Develop automated workflows with Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Support data integration across enterprise systems and APIs.
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments and manage requirements with Jira/Confluence.
• Assist with UAT, testing, and production deployment.
