Job summary

K&A Power Group in Hartford, CT is seeking a Data Analyst III to develop and maintain project reporting and advanced analytics for energy and utility projects. You will design dashboards, automate data workflows, and provide KPI insights across Engineering, Procurement, and IT teams.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's in a business field, 10 years' experience, and strong communication skills. Proficiency in Power BI, Power Automate, SQL, and related data tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business related fields
• Ten years of experience performing this function with some managerial oversight/direction
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
• Demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills
• Familiarity with Power BI, Power Automate, SQL; experience with DAX SSRS SSIS and data warehousing concepts

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project reporting to track performance and health of projects
• Design and deploy Power BI dashboards and executive scorecards
• Develop automated workflows using Power Automate
• Extract, transform, and analyze data from Maximo, Oracle Primavera, Workday, and Fieldglass
• Create and maintain KPI reports for Engineering and Supplier performance
• Collaborate with IT, finance, and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights

Role Expectations

Responsible for developing & maintaining project reporting to track and monitor the performance of the relevant organizations Individual is responsible for analyticalreporting related tasks to aid in efficient monitoring of project costs trends and schedules to track the overall health of the project Analytical thinking transformation of data and performance of compliance reviews & data validation for the functional area is required Support data analytics reporting automation and performance monitoring initiatives to enhance project execution supplier performance process automation financial transparenciesDesign and deploy Power BI dashboards and executive scorecardsDeveloping automated workflows using Microsoft Power AutomatePerforming data extraction transformation and analysis from systems such as Maximo Oracle Primavera Workday and FieldglassCreating and maintaining KPI reports for Engineering and Supplier performanceSupporting cross functional teams including Engineering Project Controls Procurement and other operational areas including close collaboration with other corporate functions such as IT finance etc Provide following deliverables Fully functional and interactive Power BI dashboards Automated reporting workflows Data Integration and Process Improvement Documentation of data models transformation logic and process flows Monthly performance reports and KPI summaries.
