Job summary

Florida Blue's Enterprise Operational Analytics team enables data-driven decisions by transforming raw data into actionable insights. The Data Analyst V conducts statistical analyses, builds KPIs, and delivers dashboards driving high-value outcomes for Enterprise Operations.

S/He collaborates with internal customers and IT to prototype and operationalize solutions. The role requires advanced SQL, SAS, R or Python skills, plus mentoring and clear communication to present findings to business

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Experience with statistical methods and tools.
• Experience with large datasets and data extraction.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Writes advanced SQL programs to extract and consolidate data from multiple tables.
• Reverse-engineers existing programs to document data extraction rules.
• Uses SAS, R, Python to manipulate data and run statistical analyses.
• Develops custom reporting and KPIs for business partners.
• Presents analysis results to stakeholders.
• Mentors team members and reviews work for quality.
