BlueTeam is seeking a Data Science & Business Intelligence Analyst in Boca Raton, FL to serve as the company’s primary quantitative resource. You will transform data from project, financial, and customer systems into decisions leadership can act on, spanning data acquisition, modeling, and reporting.

The role emphasizes defensibility, documenting models, validating against unseen data, and presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in data analytics, data science, BI, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience interpreting large datasets.
• SQL proficiency to write and optimize multi-table joins, aggregations, and window functions.
• Working proficiency in Python or R for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and modeling.
• Demonstrated experience building, validating, and using forecasting or predictive models.
• Excel proficiency with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and dynamic financial/operational models.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard design and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, validate, and transform data from multiple source systems.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights.
• Analyze historical trends, operational performance, productivity metrics, and business outcomes.
• Create recurring and ad hoc reporting for leadership teams.
• Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities through quantitative analysis.
• Build and maintain queries, extracts, and pipelines feeding the reporting layer.
• Reconcile reporting to the general ledger and source systems.
• Forecast revenue, backlog conversion, labor and equipment demand, and cash flow.
• Design and interpret experiments and measure business impact against forecast.
• Apply AI tooling to production analytical workflows and automate reporting processes.
• Evaluate AI capabilities and practical business applications, including build vs buy.
• Build automated workflows to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
