Job summary

SBG Technology Solutions, Inc. seeks a Senior Data Analyst to lead data analytics initiatives tied to VA EHRM, ServiceNow migration, and patient-safety reporting. You will guide data quality, modeling, and governance across large federal datasets, deploying NLP/ML for advanced insights.

The role demands expertise in SQL/R/Python, Tableau/Power BI, and data governance platforms, with a focus on delivering production-ready data for executive decision-making.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting large, complex federal agencies; VA or DoD experience desirable.
• Advanced expertise in SQL, R, Python, Tableau and Power BI.
• Experience with data governance tools (Purview, Collibra) and enterprise systems (ServiceNow, Power Apps).
• Ability to engage with Executive-level stakeholders and present insights.
• Strong background in data quality management and advanced analytics.
• In-depth knowledge of VHA systems and files (VistA, NPCD, PCMM, etc.).
• Ability to lead workstreams and mentor analysts.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office including automation.

Responsibilities

• Obtain data through advanced models; develop graphs and charts; apply NLP/ML to data analytics workstreams.
• Monitor and validate data pipelines; surface anomalies; perform root-cause analysis; collaborate with CPMO/OCI owners.
• Define data-quality rules, thresholds, KPI scorecards; automate checks; publish results in Purview/Collibra.
• Lead data stewardship and end-to-end lineage/metadata in Purview/Collibra; ensure VA/VHA compliance.
• Certify dashboards/reports against integrity and accessibility standards; coordinate remediation.
