Job summary

The Clearing is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to support a high-profile, mission-critical project within the Department of War. This on-site role in Arlington, VA requires a Top Secret clearance and a master’s degree in an analytical field, with 6+ years of relevant experience in data analysis or data science.

You will leverage data to inform organizational change, develop dashboards, and guide client decision-making.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance (or clearance active within the past two years).
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Arlington, Virginia.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without sponsorship.
• Master’s degree in a highly analytical field (e.g., STEM, social sciences, data analytics, or data science).
• Six (6)+ years of relevant professional experience in management consulting or a client-facing environment, with at least four (4) years as a data analyst or data scientist.
• Proficiency in R, Python, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau).
• Experience in Data Mining, Data Lakes, Warehousing, Machine Learning, and AI is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to present complex data to non-technical audiences.
• Preferred Skills/Experience: Change management, strategic planning, or strategic communication; PMP and/or Prosci Change Management certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilize data analysis to support client recommendations, strategic change initiatives, and process improvements
• Develop compelling reports and presentations that integrate data, storytelling, and visualizations (dashboards, charts, graphs) to communicate insights clearly
• Perform advanced coding in tools such as Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, R, Python, and SQL, with working knowledge of BI tools like Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau
• Analyze trends, clean and prepare datasets, and ensure data quality through extensive peer QA reviews
• Translate client objectives into clear, data-centered strategies using non-technical language
• Design and implement intelligent workflows using tools like Zapier, Pickaxe, and Lovable, focusing on integrating LLMs into business processes
• Develop trusted professional relationships with clients and manage requirements and expectations
• Support business development and capture activities for net-new growth; pursue and secure follow-on projects
• Lead and facilitate client meetings
• Manage project lanes
• Support the professional development of junior team members
• Contribute to content development for TC’s Knowledge Base and Solution Kits
• Develop thought leadership materials showcasing knowledge and application of TC's solutions
• Collaborate with customer data sources and develop data visualizations
• Ensure data quality through peer QA reviews and translate objectives into strategies
