Job summary

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking an experienced analytics professional to identify, create and integrate innovative solutions for the last mile network. You will lead the development and execution of transportation initiatives to improve efficiency and capacity, using data mining, modeling and dashboards.

The role requires strong SQL and BI skills (Tableau, Power BI) and the ability to translate business needs into scalable analytics, dashboards and automated reports for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 5+ years of writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience with Excel
• Experience with SQL
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
• MBA (preferred)
• 7+ years of business or financial analysis, product costing, procurement, or a quantitative role experience

Responsibilities

• Own the development and maintenance of new and existing solution artifacts focused on driving efficiency via analysis, metrics and dashboards.
• Partner with operations/business teams to consult, develop and implement KPIs, automated reporting/process solutions, and process improvements.
• Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible format.
• Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks.
• Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable, automated systems, reports and dashboards to support business needs.
